Tony's Town Square Restaurant | Magical Mickey

Welcome back to another edition of the Magical Mickey linkup: the linkup centering around a love for Disney, sharing that love and connecting with others. I hope you find this linkup as a great place to turn to for Disney content each week and help all the bloggers participating out by helping readers find that great mouse-eared content. I'm co-hosting with Katie from Adventures by Katie, so of course check her blog out.

This week I wanted to share with you a table service dining option at Walt Disney World that I enjoy. It's a place I often feel is overlooked for several reasons. In fact, I know it was overlooked by myself and my family... I had never eaten there until my honeymoon. This week I'll be talking about...

Tony's Town Square Restaurant

Located right up front in the Magic Kingdom park on Main Street U.S.A. is Tony's Town Square Restaurant. This turn-of-the-century trattoria offers classic tasty Italian cuisine. The restaurant is pulled straight from the Disney classic Lady and the Tramp. In the lobby you'll find pictures of the canine couple, as well as a fountain of the two title characters. That is not the only place you'll find them. As I mentioned, I had never eaten here until our honeymoon. When they found out we were there for our honeymoon, we got the most romantic table in the restaurant. Tucked away in the back, you can get a view of the alley. While an alley may not sound romantic, you'll see the two pooches forever sharing a plate of spaghetti.

While the menu may not be as exotic as some other options in other parks, Tony's offer's some great Italian options. My personal favorite would be the calamari as an appetizer followed by the Chicken Parmigiana. I can't turn down a good chicken parm. The meatballs are also delicious. Of course, I have to suggest finishing up with tiramisú. Tony's Town Square is a great option for if you have children as well. Most children love Italian. Even my daughter enjoyed a little spaghetti at 7 months old.

What should I order?

If you've ever overlooked the first table service restaurant you'll find in the Magic Kingdom park, give it a second look.

Have you ever eaten at Tony's Town Square Restaurant?

Onto the Linkup

Here are the guidelines:

The post just needs to be about anything Disney related. There have been posts on runDisney, on the parks and even on the Moms Panel, so just give it some Disney and count it.

New posts are fantastic, but for now, if you have a great old post you want to share, drop it on in.

Try to visit as many of the posts that you can as time allows. The point of this is to share and support each other.

If you're going to be a regular, please link back to the host posts. It's just good etiquette and frankly, that's how others will get to your fellow Disney lovers content. Without that link back, they can't find the linkup and therefore the other blogs. Help me help you.

You also have the option to add the linkup code to your post if you'd like. It is not required, just another option. If not, please follow the above link back guideline. Get the InLinkz code

  1. Oh we LOVE Tony's! It's my whole family's favorite restaurant at the Magic Kingdom. My husband is a pasta nut, my oldest loves the Chicken Parmesan and my youngest loves their pepperoni pizza with no cheese. And I just adore the themeing!

    1. It really is nice. Kinda sad I missed it all those years. I love all the stuff you can get at Disney most people won't normally eat, but nothing wrong with some classic Italian.

  2. I feel like the name Tony automatically makes the restaurant feel Italian. That is also funny that it is the same Tony from Lady and the Tramp. I've always loved spaghetti and other pastas and I would really like to try this. The only question I have is: how is the customer service there?

  3. I went through your blog and find it really meaningful. Very nice you should post more stuff like that However, If you want to buy a kilt visit The Utility Kilt. They are offering Best Utility Kilts For Sale .
