Last week I wrote about an overlooked dining option, Tony's Town Square Restaurant. This week, I want to share something else you may have overlooked on your last trip. This time we'll look at your entertainment options, but we're not going to constrain ourselves to the parks. Instead we'll get our feet wet in the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake. This week I'll be talking about...
Electrical Water Pageant
The Electrical Water Pageant is a combination parade and show on the water. The pageant makes various stops around the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake to perform. The music and style match that of the Main Street Electrical Parade. You can catch a view of sea creatures, a dinosaur and even the king of the sea. You'll also get a patriotic send off with flags and stars shimmering. I actually saw the parade boats used as part of the 4th of July fireworks as well.
The parade makes a loop around stopping at the hotels and other viewing areas. The viewing locations include Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Wilderness Lodge, Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground, Disney's Contemporary Resort and right outside Magic Kingdom park. One of my favorite locations to view the pageant is from Narcoossee's. If the stars align, and your reservation as well, you can watch the Electrical Water Pageant, Wishes nighttime spectacular, complete with music at the restaurant, as well as having a fantastic meal.
The show is a fun little divergence. I remember always really enjoying it as a kid. What's not to love for a kid, a big green dinosaur eating, a sea king being pulled by seahorses? It's not as large of a spectacle as some of the other parades or firework displays, but if you're going to be around one of the many resorts at the right time, take some time to slow down and give it a little watch.

Have you ever seen the Electrical Water Pageant?
Onto the Linkup
Here are the guidelines:
The post just needs to be about anything Disney related. There have been posts on runDisney, on the parks and even on the Moms Panel, so just give it some Disney and count it.
New posts are fantastic, but for now, if you have a great old post you want to share, drop it on in.
Try to visit as many of the posts that you can as time allows. The point of this is to share and support each other.
If you're going to be a regular, please link back to the host posts. It's just good etiquette and frankly, that's how others will get to your fellow Disney lovers content. Without that link back, they can't find the linkup and therefore the other blogs. Help me help you.
You also have the option to add the linkup code to your post if you'd like. It is not required, just another option. If not, please follow the above link back guideline. Get the InLinkz code

I love that parade! When we stay at Fort Wilderness, somehow we're always on the dock at MK, waiting for the boat when the pageant goes by. Such a fun show and I love Nessie the best!! :)
ReplyDeleteIt is perfect if your'e waiting at the docks anyway to pass the time.
DeleteThis sounds like such fun!
